August 2020 - MEMBERS ONLY Garden Tour, speakers, and Box Lunch at the homes of Sharyn E and Sue G

This year’s Member Garden Tour theme is Birds, Bees and Butterflies and will showcase the garden landscapes and plantings designed and cultivated by Sue G and Sharyn E. These DIY enthusiasts and good neighbors have created a habitat respite for fragile suburban wildlife and family relaxation.  Sharyn and Sue are eager to share their tips and tricks for landscape renewal and restoration through the use of recycled and repurposed materials.  This event will feature presentations on Rain Garden installations and maintenance, the National Wildlife Habitat Certification process and its designation, and the Minnesota Horticultural Society Membership.

Due to COVID concerns, there will not be a potluck, instead, the LAGC will provide ‘box lunches’ for this event.  For planning purposes, member RSVP is required by August 5, 2020.  Registered participants will receive an email with the tour itinerary, addresses and parking information, and additional box lunch details.
