JULY 24th Garden Tours and Potluck *MEMBERS ONLY EVENT*

*Please RSVP to the event to help us plan for numbers. TWO WEEKS prior to this event, an  email will go out to all LAGC Members with a detailed itinetary including addresses and the signup link for the potluck..

As with other LAGC events, members interested in carpooling should meet at the Park and RIde lot at 20941 Kenrick Avenue. Car poolers should leave BY 5:00 to arrive in time to set up and participate in the potluck!

Lora shared: My smaller than postage stamp yard with its crappy rocky clay soil has a steep incline which  ends up in a greener than green street runoff pond .  Luckily the overgrown brush and bramble were the only thing holding the hill in place .  With this as a starting point I began using unconventional methods and materials - to transform every  unusual inch into my little slice of Heaven .  If it is nothing else it is interesting — and truly mine .   I can’t wait to share it with the group!

Springwood Gardens is located within the  145 acre property of Karol and Dick Emmerich in Jordan Minnesota. Karol had  a passion to "paint the sky" and has converted several acreas of her poperty into lily gardens and greenhouses where she hybridizes and and produces varieties of daylilies that are northern hardy and that "put a smile on your face."
