About the Event

Member Sharing Time 6:30 pm

To start our monthly meeting I would like to have a time for "Members to Talk and Share" at 6:30 for before our speaker presentaiton.  I remember how much fun it was at our Holiday Party in December for us to talk and laugh and share!

Lets talk about 1) are you going to starting seeds inside for the  2021 growing season? 2) have your ordered/bought seeds for 2021? 3) do you save seeds?  It will be a fun and educational time to share!

Our speaker presentation will start at 7:00 pm

MSHS (Mn State Horticulture Society) staff member Courtney Tchida will be speaking in February on the large Seed Saving Project at MSHS; MN SEED (Saving Essential Edibles & Diversity) Project.  Her presentation will also cover the plants we can select to grow in our gardens in 2021 that our best for seed saving.   Courtney will go over the best methods to save the seed and proper storage of the seed for best viability.

Our monthly business meeting will follow the speaker presentation, presided over by President Sue Williamschen.
