If you have a passion to help others, there are so many volunteer opportunities with the garden club and we need your help! See below for what you can get involved in. Follow the links for more information or to sign up. Note that some volunteer opportunities are seasonal and are not available to sign-up year round.

Providing leadership and service to our club and community
Our executive committee provides oversight and guidance for our club, manages our finances and other tracking needed.

Each role is a 2 year service to the club.
Organizing club programs including monthly speakers and tours
Programs Committee plays a key role in organizing monthly events for the club including special guests. A lot of organizing, planning and communicating goes into hosting these.
COMMUNICATIONS & TECH COMMITTEE
Assisting with communications & tech tools --website, facebook, flyers...
The Communications Committee provides a variety of communications and social media services including newsletters, website technical management and updates, Facebook technical management and updates, and other mediums. This committee supports technology tools to allow other committees to be most effective in their responsibilities and communications.
Assisting with membership of our club ---welcoming, registering...
Our membership committee assists with all membership-related activities including new memberships each year, name tags, check-in and welcome information.
Tending community park gardens for the enjoyment of all
Every summer, we volunteer to tend to several parks throughout Lakeville, including watering, planting, fertilizing and weeding. We request a one week commitment per sign-up.
SUNSHINE PROGRAM COMMITTEE
Sharing kindness and uplifting those in need in our club
Our Sunshine Program Committee accepts requests from club members to give to those in need within the club, such as a family loss.
PAN-O-PROG FLOWER SHOW
Hosting our annual Flower Show during Lakeville's Pan-O-Prog
The club hosts the Lakeville Panorama Of Progress (Pan-O-Prog) Flower Show in Downtown Lakeville. Help is needed in set up, hosting the day of, and take down.

Serving our community
The club participates in a variety of Benevolence activities throughout the year. This committee researches opportunities, arranges activities, and helps to coordinate our charitable giving.
Spreading garden joy throughout the community in the parade
Since 2017, the club has participated in the Lakeville Pan-O-Prog parade, to share more about our club. Volunteers help with decorating the float/truck, participating in the parade, managing it and any cleanup.
NOTE: The Parade will be held again this year! Please see events for the most up to date information.
HOLIDAY PARTY COMMITTEE
Celebrating the end of the season with great food and fellowship
Each year we end the season with a wonderful Holiday Party including food, door prizes, recognition of members and more.

Managing various fundraisers for the club...
The fundraising committee provides other opportunities to raise money for the club besides the Plant Sale. This currently includes a Gift Card Fundraising Sale.
