Started gardening in my backyard and in my grandmothers garden when I was a child. Then I became very interested in native plant species for our area because Australia often falls into a drought. 

As an adult living in USA, I do the same, but because the environment in my own backyard is so diverse, it allows me to experiment with all sorts of options for this zone.
