Join us for a pleasant evening touring our very own LAGC member Tia's flower gardens and prairie restoration. A representative from Scott County will also present on the restoration project done on Tia's property. Keep an eye on your emails for a signup genius for potluck items.

About the Event
Join us as we tour one of our very own LAGC members gorgeous gardens. We will plan a potluck meal as well. Please rsvp to the event to help us plan for numbers. An email will go out to all LAGC Members with a detailed itinetary including an address and with the signup link to the potluck.
The long driveway of Brian and Tia 's Lakeville home bursts with bright green grasses and budding flowers. That vibrance continues around their equally colorful Scandinavian farmhouse, creating a fantastic setting reminiscent of the old-world countryside. They enjoy this view every day, thanks to their efforts to restore the land surrounding their house into native prairie back in 2019 .Brian and Tia’s prairie is in a particularly unique spot, seated just above the Vermillion River. By restoring the land to hardy, resilient, sturdy native grasses and flowers, (they) are reducing sediment and runoff that would otherwise make its way directly into the Vermillion River and beyond.
