Our Speaker for February is Mark Armstead whose presentation will be on “What’s New for 2022.” Mark will focus on current garden trends that are seen in the industry as it pertains to urban and suburban gardeners. He is going to touch on the basics as well as new plants for 2022.

About the Event
Mark Armstead is a graduate from St. Cloud State University with a BS in Biology with an emphasis in botany. He describes himself as a "consummate plant geek!" He has a 20+ year career in horticulture working at various nurseries, inculding Linders, where he became their "face" appearing weekly on KARE11 and Twin Cities Live. He currently has a weekly radio spot on KLBB in Stillwater and spring speaking engagements on BOB Country radio.
At our meeting, he will talk about the current trends that we see in the industry and what's new for this year. He is well versed in most aspects of the industry...weeds, critters, growing, and lawns. He loves questions, so come with all your gardening inquiries!
