July Gardens Tour-2022

Join us for a private garden tour of two Master Gardener's flower  gardens in Eden Prairie. Our thanks goes out to Gayle S for lining up these tours. Gayle is a friend of Mary Jo and Bob and raves about their gardens! In turn, Mary Jo raves about Eddie's gardens...we can't wait to see their creations!

The first stop on our tour is at the home of Eddie, who is a Master Gardene, and  whose gardens come highly recommended for visiting by Mary Jo.

Our second stop is at the home of Mary Jo and Bob, whose gardens have been featured on KARE 11. Mary Jo and Bob have transformed their entire yard into spectacular flower gardens...and they even have helped their neighbors create beautiful gardens too1

Due to several factors, we are needing to make some changes in our event/plans.

Initially, the Programs Committee felt that it was not necessary to provide transportation for this event. However, due to the  number of folks registering, we have determined that a Motor Coach is needed. We recognized that we would have needed many cars for carpooling with limited parking at each destination and the locations required driving in rush hour traffic on roads with construction and congestion. Along with the high cost of gas, we concluded that providing a Motorcoach (with a restroom) was the better option.

In addition, we recognized that this tour was right over the diner hour and we have decided that a bag dinner will be included!

SCHEDULE

5:00  Be at the Park and Ride lot at  20941 Kenrick Ave, Lakeville  You will pick up your bag dinner as you get on the bus. and we will eat on the bus.  Coach bus departs promptly at 5:15  

6:00 Eddie's Garden 

 7:00 Mary Jo and Bob's Garden 

 8:00 Depart for the park and ride 

 8:45 Return to Park and Ride Lot

We hope these changes will make this tour much more comfortable and relaxing for everyone!

Because these items were not included in our annual budget, we are asking each attendee to contribute $15 to cover your transportation, your meal, and a tip for the bus driver.

We are requesting that ALL attendees use this transportation. and we will not be sending our the addresses to these gardens. However, if you have extenuating circumstance, please send us an email at: lagcmn.programs@gmail.com with ATTENTION JULY TOUR in the subject line.
