One of our Benevolence activities this year is to collect  donations of hats, mittens, socks and underware for children at the Lewis House Shelter. The Lewis House, run by 360 Communities, is a shelter that provides emergency housing and assistance to individuals and families escaping from domestic or sexual violence. At the Lewis House, trained advocates offer emotional support, safety planning, referrals to the community resources and help navigate the court system.  Family/Youth Advocates who specialize in working with children offer support groups for the children and educate parents about the effects of violence and trauma on children. 

Your donations provide for a great need and are a sign of your care and concern.

 Please bring your donations to LAGC meetings in September through December.
