About the Event

This is our 7th Annual Garden Center Tour. We will meet at the Target Parking lot at 185th and I35, the SW corner. Please plan to be there around 8:15 and we will leave at 8:30.

1. Our first stop is the 7 Sisters Green house in Prescott , WI. It is owned by the 7 Jacque sisters of the famous Jacque Seed Company. The ladies are known for their classes on Arrangements and will give our club a quick demonstration.

2. Our next stop is Cedar Hill Farm, a very nice greenhouse stocked with fun perennials, annuals and vegetables. I noticed when I stopped there was a great selection of plants and reasonable prices.

3. The third stop is Garden Divas on the edge of Ellsworth, WI. Garden Divas has more garden art and home decor than plants, but I think you will enjoy their goods and the quaint setting.

4. We will backtrack our car route to MN and go to Afton and have lunch at the Afton House Inn, and weather permitting we will be eating on the patio!

5. Stop number 5 is our friend Martin Stern and his Garden Center Squire House, a wonderful place filled with great plants, a lovely store with clothes/candles/garden items. And don't miss Martins lovely gardens on the north side of this house.

6. Our 6th and final stop is Black's Nursery, Hudson, MN. I was in awe of the garden metal work, great prices on perennials. They have one greenhouse dedicated to just TOMATOES. If you grow vegetables, this is your garden center.

PLEASE RSVP TO THIS EMAIL SO I KNOW WHO IS GOING ON THE TRIP.
