May 20, 2024 Aronson Park Planting & Spring Clean Up at Lakeville Area Arts Center

The planting of the Memorial Garden at Aronson Park is our annual Community Service Project. In addition we will help maintain the Lakeville Area Arts Center perennial beds through Fall.  

The Memorial Gardens project is possible thanks The Kevin and Rhonda Miller family, the City of Lakeville and our Lakeville Area Garden Club whom share in the cost of providing the annuals from Eisele's Greenhouse that are planted in the raised beds.

The evening will start with dinner and a short meeting at Aronson Park in the pavilion area. Volunteers will then disperse to either the Memorial Gardens area for planting OR drive over to the Arts Center for clean-up of the perennial beds. 

In order to maintain the Arts Center perennial beds LAGC volunteers are neeed starting in June for weeding, watering, and general maintenance. 

Items to bring:  garden gloves/tools, water or other appropriate beverages.

Attire: LAGC t-shirt and /or weather appropriate clothing as this is a "rain or shine" event.  

*All tools must be scrubbed with dishwashing soap and then bleached BEFORE using at this event.

A box dinner will be provided in appreciation of your service. RSVP is REQUIRED to insure we have a meal for everyone!
