About the Event
The planting and maintenance of the Memorial Garden and surrounding perennial beds at Aronson Park is our annual Community Service Project. Funded in conjunction with the city of Lakeville and Eisele's Greenhouse, we provide funds and the planting of the annuals planted in the large raised beds and surrounding planters of the Memorial Garden. Over the past few years, we have expanded our community service to include the spring and fall clean-up and maintenance of the perennial beds surrounding the Memorial Garden. Throughout the summer, LAGC volunteers are needed for weeding, watering, and general maintenance of these gardens.
** Items to bring: garden gloves/tools, water or other appropriate beverage, a portable chair. Attire: LAGC t-shirt and weather appropriate clothing as this is a "rain or shine" event.
A short business meeting will follow.
*** A box dinner will be provided in appreciation of your service. RSVP is REQUIRED to insure we have a meal for everyone!
