Oct | "Indoor Plant Care" Laura Mathews of Tangletown Gardens

I am so excited for the speaker this month, Laura Mathews!  Not only for her topic, Indoor Plant Care,  but also where Laura works, Tangletown Gardens in Minneapolis.  I have been a huge fan of Tangletown Gardens for over 15 years and if you ever visited this urban oasis garden store on Nicollet Avenue and about 40th Street in Minneapolis you would understand.  The amazing outdoor plants and containers that you see are  extraoridnary, healthy and beautiful! Last May when I stopped, in there were TWO greenhouses of Houseplants, TWO!   I knew then that Tangletown would be our source for an Indoor Houseplant Presenter and that is why we are so fortunate to have Laura Mathews visit our meeting  in October and instruct us on basic Indoor Houseplant Care with a focus on Winter Care.

As a side note, we are planning on including Tangletown Gardens on our now "2022 LAGC April Garden Center Tours" visit.  I would suggest you start saving money and space in your gardens right now.  

This night will also include our Annual Volunteer Fair where you can learn about the many opportunites to get involved in the Lakeville Area Garden Club and put your talents and skills to great use! 

Our monthly business meeting will follow our speaker presentation, lead by President Sue Williamschen.
