Come and join us for an evening learning from Certified Arborists  about tree selection, planting for success, and the care for your current trees and new trees you may be wanting to add to our landscape.  Chad and Rachel's  work is focused on increasing awareness and access to natural resources through memorable, hands-on outdoor experiences, conducting workshops and training, delivering high-quality tree care, and implementing systems of tree preservation

They have presented at numerous regional and national conferences on a number of arboriculture and horticulture topics. 

Creating and Maintaining Space for Epic Shade Trees in Minnesota

With the introduction of emerald ash borer, Minnesota has seen catastrophic losses of yet another native shade tree. On top of Dutch elm disease it seems like our biggest, best, and most resilient shade trees have been on the ropes for decades. Despite these challenges, Minnesota is still capable of hosting thriving examples of monumental native and neo-native shade trees. These species usually aren't the best choice for urban boulevards and they might be a challenge to establish in some residential spaces as well, but by investing time and forethought in selecting the location and site preparation - there's no reason why we can't plant some epic shade for many generations to come!
